The first-cycle Music Education studies last 3 years and lead to obtaining the bachelor's degree of music with the teaching specialisation.
The goal of the major is for the graduates to:
teach music on a pre-school and elementary school level
conduct extracurricular music activities
lead amateur vocal and instrumental groups
popularise music appreciation
The graduate can continue education on the second-cycle studies. However, a separate examination procedure is required to be qualified.
The second-cycle Music Education studies last 2 years and lead to obtaining the master's degree of music.
The goal of the major is for the graduates to become musicians as well as teachers.
